I am a marketing and communications expert utilizing of-the-moment digital strategies to maximize a brand’s media mix. As the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Blavity Inc., I oversee corporate marketing, new brand launch go-to-market strategies, corporate social media, lead generation, corporate advertising, and public relations. I bridge the gap between marketing, branding, digital storytelling, and business development to create and grow Blavity Inc.’s revenue and client partnerships.
Formerly VP of Brand Strategy and Marketing at Threadless, I led the omnichannel marketing strategy for Threadless, including its print-on-demand e-commerce platform, Artist Shops. Previously, I was Head of Communications at theAudience, one of the world’s largest multi-channel publishers of social content; I built and maintained social profiles for entertainment studios, A-list celebrity clients, and Fortune 500 brands. I also launched Disney’s entire portfolio of social fan pages, including starting their Instagram and Twitter profiles. In addition, I was instrumental in coordinating their award-winning Toy Story 3 social media campaign.
I spend my free time cooking, spending time in nature, and making herbal skincare remedies for my apothecary line, Rooms.
